If I understand it correctly, there are two kinds of apps for Firefox OS:

  • Hosted apps (only the app’s manifest file is installed, all other files are hosted online)
  • Packaged apps (all necessary files are installed on the device)

How can I check if an installed app is hosted or packaged?

(Although this question has the Marketplace tag, which I don’t seem to be able to remove, I’m not interested in a way to check this in the Firefox Marketplace; my question is about checking already installed apps, no matter from which source.)
