=What is Tracking?= Tracking is the ability of a website to keep tabs on a users activity via special software tools. Web tracking stores information about your internet activity. Many websites use cookies as a way to keep stats on your browsing history. =What is Tracking Protection?= Tracking protection allows you to take control of your privacy online. Turning on do not track blocks known or suspected tracking domains. Enabling tracking protection lets Firefox tell advertising networks, other websites and applications that you opt-out of tracking especially for purposes of behavioral advertising.
