My original Firefox is on PC..I synced Firefox with Mac..All of my history and bookmarsks came over but my masterpassword won't work on the Mac...Solution?

In essence I've synced my PC Firefox with a Mac and although my history and bookmarks migrated, my master password doesn't work with the Mac. When I log onto websites, the dropbox for my password comes down, but Firefox on the Mac wont' recognize it.

I added a sync tag to this thread so a sync developer can see this as "sync" related question.

Sync doesn't sync your master password.

If you have one set on your Mac, it's because you (or someone else) set one up. That presumably explains why it's not the same as the one on your PC!

Here's how you can reset your master password , after which Sync will happily sync your passwords.
