Firefox stops responding when opening Bookmark from sidebar
When using the sidebar for Firefox-bookmarks, sometimes the program will stop responding when clicking a bookmark. This then persists untill the entire PC is rebooted. Although Safe mode will make the crash occur less often, it is in no way a safe bet, still causing crashes regularly. Since I strongly rely on the sidebar, it's a major annoyance. Does somebody know a fix?

It may be caused by an add-on. Try running Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If it works properly in that configuration, then one or more add-ons is the most likely culprit.
As I said, Safemode doesnt prevent the crash
This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
Already tried that (should have specified) and didnt work.. will try deleting all the backups as well though.
