videos appear as a white rectangle on some sites, but ok on youtube, and with Internet explorer
I can see videos on youtube, but on sites that link to youtube I only get a white rectangle. This problem does not occur with Internet Explorer.

Searching for "Youtube" will give several technical and rather unhelpful posts regarding this problem. However, if you download Firefox 4 beta this problem will go away (although you will lose any add-ons which are incompatible).

Cor-el, thanks for the solution. I have not tried it as I have now switched to Firefox 4.0 which does not have the same problem, but the problem is now solved as far as I am concerned.
