Is there a way to block a specific ad that makes me feel ill every time it appears on my screen?

Cookies have picked up my shopping for pet items and I am now confronted by a huge picture of a lungworm every time I check the TV Guide online listing. I find this so repulsive, it turns my stomach--is there a way to block this specific ad? If I block ads globally, I can't use the On Demand services and I would rather not waste my time switching Adblocker on and off.

Please advise--thanks!

Do it in this way :

  • Open Firefox and go to Tools>Options>Privacy tab.
  • Choose "Use custom settings for history" from dropdown for "firefox will".

Now click on Exception > and paste the "website url" of that which you dont want to see.

You can do the same thing in Ad blocker https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8780

but it needs some code :)
