I go to my minor league baseball site for the games. I click on the button to get an animated view of the game with real time action. Firefox tells me I have to have a flash player and must download it. I close firefox, go to google, go to same site, and click on same button. I gert exactly what I want. Google doesn't ask for any player. What I have is good enough. Why is firefox trying to force me to download a flash player i obviously do not need? Do I have to keep google towatch my baseball games??

IE and Google Chrome use their own versions of the Flash plugin. Google Chrome comes with its own version of the Shockwave Flash plugin built-in that is based upon Pepper, so Google Chrome needs to update each time flash is updated.

Firefox needs a different version of the Flash plugin that needs to be installed separately. You can find the latest Flash player versions for Firefox on this page:
