I am considering getting the great deal on your VPN. I understand that you can connect with 5 devices. How does it work if I want to do it in my home? I have 2 computers, 1 iPad, 1 iPhone; my wife has 1 computer, 1 iPad, and 1 iPhone. So we can have the VPN installed on all the devices but only be able to use at one time, 5 devices. Correct? We usually are on only one device at a time anyway. Would we have to turn off the VPN on each device? or would we just close our browser or have the computer, iPhone, iPad go to sleep. How would this work?

Also, I get my tv from Youtube TV which may not like going through a VPN. I do not think it would effect the signal from the modem but may cause a problem if I wish to watch tv on my iPad using the app. Right?

Hi Allan,

thank you for posting on the forum!

You can have up to 5 devices on a single subscription. If you need it on more than 5 devices then you will have to open up an additional subscription, but you can use the devices at the same time that should not be an issue. Once you are done using Mozilla VPN on your device you can just switch it off, but it will shut down automatically once you turn off your device anyways. Please remember that you will have to turn it on again once you restart your PC or mobile phone.

Unfortunately, most streaming services disallow usage of VPN and will block access if they detect you’re using one. There’s no current workaround for this as it’s a decision made on their end of things, not ours. It may be something we can look at working around in the future.

I hope this answered all your questions, please let us know if you have any concerns.
