the secured connection logo appears every time I try to click on an app or anything else? I also keep getting little icons that say I have a virus or something else. I have a virus program, so this should not be happening!!

As of this week I have been unable to connect to the www.tax.ny.gov website. I am able to get on the website but unable to login to it. Once I log in i receive the following message:

an error occurred during a connection to my.ny.gov.PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Can you please help me fix it as I need to have access to make a payroll tax deposit and upload info to the certified payroll portal. I have AVG Firewall and security. I am able to utilize the website from my phone. Just not my computers.

    Oh, dear, where to begin.....  Recently, I've had issues once in awhile with opening websites and/or webpages.  I get error messages stating that I can not open, or connect to, that link for one reason or another.  {Bad addresses, bad links, bad gates, being blocked, can not send, etc.}  Now, I am receiving these error messages when I am trying to open webpages/websites to a company that I have a software with - and I know that this company exists and is operational.

    I have done everything on your support page of suggestions, I've disabled my anti-virus software, I've turned off my firewalls (Microsoft), and disabled everything in Firefox that I thought might be blocking this from going through; but, to no avail.  

    I even tried to turn off the "Enhanced Tracking Protection", but can not find it anywhere in my Firefox settings, and the function is 'grayed out' in the dialog box shown in my visual aid attached.

    Has anyone seen this issue before?  Has anyone dealt with this before?  Can anyone help me?  Please?  I'm at a total loss and have done everything I can think of.  At this point, I'm not sure if this is a Firefox issue, or a Dell issue, or a Microsoft issue, or an Iolo issue; but, I thought I would start with Firefox and rule out Firefox if needed in my research.

I recently Got a brand new computer. When I try to load twitch.tv, I just get a black screen, with a bar at the bottom that says "transferring data from assets.twitch.tv..."

I have tried everything under the sun. I have no extensions. - adjusted the enhanced tracking protection. - toggled DNS over HTTPS - Cleared web cache and cookies - Changed DNS Servers - Adjusted Hardware acceleration - changed media.wmf.media-engine.enabled to 0 - Ran Troubleshooting Mode

I also Have Norton installed, but its not running currently. Can you please help?

Use of VPN makes increasing site access "unable".

Most serious example is accessing Schwab financial accounts.

I work around by turning VPN off but that undermines one of key reasons for using VPN.

After updating Firefox, I can no longer play YouTube videos, and tabs frequently crash. - Error message: "An error occurred. Please try again later." - Issue persists after Firefox Refresh (about:support). - Google Chrome plays YouTube videos normally without any issues. - Security software (Kaspersky) is installed.

Könnte es sein, dass es einen Zusammenhang gibt damit , dass ich vor ein paar Tagen ein Antivirusprogramm von Avast heruntergeladen habe, nachdem ich seit Monaten dazu von Avast genötigt wurde, da mein Laptop angeblich schwere Probleme aufweisen würde. Beim Online-Banking hatte ich vor Wochen ein ähnliches Problem (das war allerdings noch vor dem Herunterladen dieses Antivirusprogramms), dass meine Zahlungen nicht verifiziert werden konnten. Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Service der Bank sagte man mir, dass ich einen anderen Browser benutzen solle, da Firefox angeblich Sicherheitslücken aufweisen würde.

Even when I search for AVG, the same msg is shown. If I use Chrome or AVG Secure browser, there is no error msg.

I have had an issue for a few months now where certain websites fail to load. This is most easily reproduced on https://addons.mozilla.org, where I am shown the error "An unexpected error occurred" on most pages, preventing me from installing addons.

This issue does not occur in a Private Window, in Troubleshooting mode or in Chrome or Brave, but persists in fresh installs of Firefox. In troubleshooting this issue, I have removed all program files, registry data, and app data pertaining to Mozilla / Firefox. In fresh installs, I can sometimes install an add-on or two before this error starts occuring. I have not imported any previous data.

I was previously installing from Chocolatey, but in my last clean install, I downloaded from the official website.

I am on Windows 10 and Firefox 157. I use Proton VPN (Paid) and have tried changing servers several times to no avail. Again, this only happens in Firefox in a standard window, Private Mode and Troubleshooting Mode are fine.

Screenshot 1 shows the issue from my most recent reinstall. I was able to install 1 add-on (SponsorBlock) before it started showing up. Removing the add-on doesn't fix the issue. Trying to access addons.mozilla.org via a search engine results in the tab icon loading for a second and no change happening on screen (Screenshot 2).

I experience similar issues on other websites, like trying to log into Bandcamp.com (logging in gives the error "There was a network error. Please try again."), but most sites work.

Loading https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ gives the following results in the Network Console:

I regularly consult this web-site https://eservices.dls.moi.gov.cy/#/national/geoportalmapviewer It is a government land registry website. A lot of it still works (the least useful parts) I need to use the Interactive Maps but now instead of a nice map of Cyprus I got a message saying there was a problem with the web-site. I accordingly switched off enhanced in the shield and now get "The specified URL cannot be found. " Aaaargh! I've raised a query with them but I'd just as soon learn from anyone who could help. I'm being regularly logged out of my Firefox account from Firefox Mobile. I use Firefox daily and regularly want to send tabs to my other devices, so it is annoying to have to log in again and again. I suspect that the reason for the lack of session persistence is my permanent connection to ProtonVPN servers. I come to this conclusion, because I'm experiencing problems connecting to the following two web pages from devices (Firefox Mobile, but also Desktop) connected to ProtonVPN servers (free/paid tiers both): - accounts.firefox.com - support.mozilla.org This especially affects the login process in Firefox Mobile, which can only be performed after disconnecting from ProtonVPN.

Please remove ProtonVPN server IP addresses from your blacklist, so that privacy conscious users may continue to use Firefox/Mozilla services without disruptions.

I’m having an issue while using a web proxy service in Firefox. I’m trying to access Croxyproxy Croxyproxy, but I’m not sure whether the problem is related to Firefox settings, cookies, JavaScript, or Tracking Protection.

Has anyone experienced similar issues when using Croxyproxy with Firefox? Are there any Firefox settings I should check to make sure the website works correctly?

Over the past few weeks some web sites have not been working properly on my PC. The site will open but I am unable to open individual pages within the site. This has occurred only on a few web sites, such as the UK met office, while other sites, such as XC weather, are unaffected. I have tried the web sites in another profile, using private browsing and refreshing Firefox but there is no change. However, if I open the Mozilla VPN and then try the problem goes away. The web sites also work correctly when using the Edge browser and when using Firefox on my laptop and mobile.
