Why does every time TB updates it cause all my Yahoo accounts force me to get new passwords? Is it TB or Yahoo that is creating this problem of me having jump through hoops just to get the accounts working again. BTW the passwords in TB don't work when this happens.
Either this get resolved or I stop updating TB.

Recently my HP PC crashed, and since had its old hard drive updated to a new solid state drive. Basically I am lead to believe is was a problem caused by a security update from Microsoft. My old system was Windows 10, now updated to 11. A copy was taken of the old drive and I was advised that all of the apps etc could be accessed from a folder on my desk top. Not really the case at all. In the mean time I have manually added back all the apps etc that I would have been using. OK, my question is, I have downloaded the email account and set it up OK. Is there any way all of my old stored emails and folders can be restored and copied to my new OS. If not, I can survive. Probabley a good idea to loose some of the old data. Thanks in advance

As per the title. I have allowed external content for one message (it is disabled by default). Finding the option to do that was easy, because there is a specific message with a drop-down menu to configure access to external content for that particular message.
However, now that I have allowed external content, I do not wish to keep it allowed (no need for external parties to know when and where I open and re-open and re-re-open this e-mail). The drop-down menu to manage the privacy options for this particular message has disappeared. That is inconvenient, to say the least, because I can't see any other way to get to those options. What am I missing?

I am trying to add a new identity, I already have 3, so perhaps there is a limit? I have created the identity under manage identities with no problems. However, the new identity does not appear in Thunderbird, where the others are. The address is not recognized, and does not receive emails. I feel like I have missed a fundamental step but have followed the help instructions & cannot see what I am doing wrong. Ive checked and the program is up to date. I need to use the offline MBOX folders of several email accounts that I access via IMAP to migrate the contents to a new provider. There are no files in my Thunderbird profile directory tree with the extension .MBOX (under Windows 11) but I have some fairly large files of the form: <Thunderbird profile>\ImapMail\<IMAP server>\INBOX and <Thunderbird profile>\ImapMail\<IMAP server>\Sent are these the MBOX files? Can I safely ignore the .msf files? A further problem is that I have more than one account on the same server, but the second account only appears as: <Thunderbird profile>\ImapMail\<IMAP server>-1\INBOX and <Thunderbird profile>\ImapMail\<IMAP server>-1\Sent How can I identify the corresponding e-mail accounts?

I get this on the 3 pictures I took myself. What is wrong with your system now? Is this an AI problem? Why am I getting questioned on my pictures now??? Very irritating since no one can answer this simple question.
Pictures are of my area / since I can't find any version number for Thunderbird / but it is updated always it is the most current when AI is present

I have a Dell Desktop with 64GB Memory, Windows 11, Intel Core i7-7700 @ 3.60 GHz, 1TB ssd, and two additional drives. On a new installation of Thunderbird 152.0, I get "System Integration" (Not Responding)" window. The only option is to exit. What can I check to correct this. I have uninstalled and deleted the install file multiple times with the same result. Thank you.

A category (Daily Brain something) of emails that are clearly spam (you even think they are spam) are landing in my Inbox every day. I have my email set to not allow emails from any addresses that aren't in my book. If I follow their 'unsubscribe' link, I just get more of them.
