Happens daily at random, click on link it opens Firefox to a black screen, fails to load requested page. I close app then click link again and it works perfectly. This is not desktop browser. I empty cache , no change. Any help, Thank You

I had several tabs open in my browser. Sometimes when I try to open a previous tab, the page goes blank. It doesn't load on its own. I have to manually drag it from top to bottom to load it. The page should have automatically loaded to the previous page. As you can see in my screenshot below, my YouTube website is here. I opened this tab this afternoon and now when I open it at night, I see this.

Hello, I work a lot with favorites and have built quite a sophisticated folder structure. Since the latest updates, it’s become easier to manage everything when creating a new favorite—it’s clearer and easier to navigate.

However, there’s one issue: every time I want to add a new favorite, the same folder is always shown as the default, and I have to navigate to the desired folder each time. If I want to save several pages in a row to a different folder, this becomes very annoying. It used to be that the last selected folder was offered as the default.

Could this perhaps be changed or improved again? Thank you very much!

Usually the mobile version looks the way it should, but sometimes, shortly before an update, it changes its layout to Desktop Mode for a few days at a time. I am not sure why, and the layout usually changes back shortly after the update was made.

Recently, the android app was changed internally that, ie. settings are no longer accessible through a sidebar menu but from the bottom up (?). Now, the entire tab view has changed - the tiled tab preview shows tabs as way longer tiles (which is incredibly inconvenient) and the layout at the top for accessing normal tabs, private tabs and synced tabs has entirely changed, too. But none of the guides I have found online to disable this change through settings (and secret settings) worked to set this change back. Is there any other way to change it back at all?

i think the amazon web browser music player thing is trying to modify your guys's app in order to get rid of whatever the hell it wants.

i have the latest version of the app and i have updated for some reason on the mozilla support site. i do not trust whatever link this nonesense leads me to tbh. i cant even find the link that that button redirects you to other than the mozilla support website 🤷🏿

The browser recognizes Russian on the website as English and automatically translates it into "Russian," but what it actually produces is a jumble of letters that are neither Russian nor English. Essentially, the browser is translating from Russian—which I don't need to translate, since I'm from Russia—into an incomprehensible, non-existent language. And I can't turn off automatic translation of Russian because it's not available. There's a toggle switch: "Never translate English," but that doesn't work for Russian. You can click "Never translate this site" on the website itself, but the problem is that it's for a single website. It means I have to turn off translation and reload the website every time I visit a Russian-language website. This is very inconvenient. I ask you to add an option to disable translation of an entire language, not just English or a specific website.

Whenever i send a Tab from any Device to a Linux Desktop, the Linux Desktop is almost guaranteed to freeze. It doesn’t matter if that Linux Desktop is my "Dingus" PC with 2GB RAM and Wayland, or my "Workstation" PC with 16GB RAM and X11. On both Desktops, Firefox runs smoothly until it gets sent a Tab from another Device, then the whole Linux Desktop freezes. The Desktop doesn’t slow if i open the Tab on the Desktop in the “Tabs from other Devices” Sidebar instead.

Only my Linux Desktops freeze when they get sent a Tab from another Device. Android doesn’t slow when my Phone gets sent a Tab from another Device.

Hi, I use Stay Focused app to block news websites at certain times. However it is not working with Firefox Android. Is there a way to make it work or is this a developer problem? Previously it worked fine so may be related to an update.

Version 149. After about one day of use, Firefox on Android intermittently hangs for about five seconds, several times per minute. Attempting to select links during this time are ignored and the selection usually occurs after the hang/delay.

The device is a Pixel 5 with Android 14.

When I navigate through multiple pages on the phone, especially when the connection quality is not very good, the whole app sometimes stop loading anything.

1. Open multiple pages or SPA that would frequently make XHR requests during usage (like X/Twitter) 2. Navigate though those pages, make actions that is definitely going to initiate new http requests 3. Repeat until some contents staying in load progress 4. You'll get blank page if you open new page from now on 5. Killing the process (in app details) would reset this behavior.

Feels like there is a connection or worker thread pool that is running out of available resources.

Ongoing bug that first started occuring on Firefox Nightly before being introduced to Firefox stable and now showing on forks such as Waterfox and Fennec

When viewing first view it takes up 3/5 of screen to extra click of full menu covering virtually entire page, also slower both from a usable standard along with the animation introduced.

Classic menu is simpler to use especially when with different browsers such as Chrome, webpages and many other none browser Android apps. Default use of address bar at top - same as on desktop - means that navigation involves moving thumb from top right of screen to bottom, instead of keeping in same area.

Everything is now harder to navigate, the extension tab was easier to use before, now cause a lot of friction, the bookmark tab was only a few centimeters away from the initial tap now is at the bottom of the screen. The old design had perfectly optimize how the user navigate their setting and the redesign had made it worse.

I went to save a bookmark in my mobile browser to a folder that I used to have access to. Now when I went to save a bookmark to that folder, I am allowed to save t to mobile bookmarks, bookmarks toolbar, or bookmark menu. You changed the 3 dot menu so now I have to use both hands to awkwardly make adjustments in that menu, and I can't use the "forward" arrow either.

STOP FIXING SHIT THAT WASNT BROKEN.

Pretty much the title. This sounds like some Microsoft level stuff. Forcing a UI change for no reason. A few days ago it started. That was interesting because the play store was showing no recent updates.

My UI on my tab screen had changed, though. I was able to revert back by turning off "Tab Enhancements" in the secret settings menu.

Now, this morning, I wake up and the tab menu has reverted back to the "new" UI. I went back into secret settings and then option is no longer there. Google play says I have now updated to 1.49.

WTH?

When I start to type a comment in Facebook, Firefox keeps refreshing and loosing my keyboard. Have tried disabling uBlock origin and changing tracking protection settings to no avail. Don't want to use Meta app.
