Android کے لئے Firefox Community Forum

Ever since a recent update the Firefox app for android has had issues with text input for me. It's only Firefox, nothing else on my device has this issue, and it makes inputting text a huge hassle.

It often seems like the cursor randomly will move into a word even if it shouldn't, or it will trigger an auto-complete partway through typing a word (despite me having this disabled). It especially seems to happen if I go back to correct a word that had a typo or if I'm typing something with a hyphen, so "level-headed" will become something like "level-level-head-lehvel", as if it's repeatedly trying to autocomplete from different parts in the word.

This seems most notable if I access sites that I have saved to my homescreen for easy access (such as Tumblr, since I don't use the app), but seems to happen at random in general.

It makes text input pretty frustrating, which is a probem since that's a primary thing I do online.

I accidentally hit something in Firefox that changed my language for directions to another language, so I cant see choices to delete my cache, history, etc.. Already made sure my language in settings is English. Thanks for your help.

Please add an option to set a default language to translate into. I often have to translate Japanese webpages, and each time I need to scroll through the list of "Translate to" languages to find English.

Dear Firefox Team, I have used Firefox for many years, but the built-in translation feature remains unnecessarily complicated. Every time I must manually select source and target languages, as if defaults and user preferences do not exist. This is not a technical problem, but a basic UX failure already solved by competing browsers. If this trivial but daily issue continues to be ignored, I will unfortunately be forced to stop using Firefox. Please make translations remember language pairs and default to the user’s language. Sincerely, Ladislav Vičić

Hi, I would like to report a UI/UX issue specifically in the Ukrainian localization of Firefox on Android. In the menu, the "Reload" (Оновити) and "Quit" (Вийти з Firefox) options are positioned so closely that it’s very easy to misclick. I constantly find myself clicking "Quit" by mistake when I only intend to refresh the page. This is a huge issue for me because it instantly closes all my active tabs and interrupts my work. It feels like a "UI trap" specifically in the Ukrainian version. I would be very grateful if you could fix this issue.

Therefore, I kindly request to please get it added. Once again, to each one of you the most happiest new year 2026.

Thanking in advance for the prompt action of getting added.

Kind Regards,

Ive no idea why, I woke up the next morning and seemed as if an update occured. If I make a search it shows text and location as if i am from the Nederland, it's difficult only having a phone but no matter what changes I attempt and try to save...with no avail..continues remaining the same, after days trying to fix i was finally able to find this option. Respectfully, ask for help. Thought this was a private discussion of the issue and not an open thread?
