My bookmarks get strewn above the toolbars, they dance back and forth, the program won't work and on the few occasions the homepage opens without these interruptions, the home prompt launches the problem all over. when it's in this mode nothing responds. I have to crash it to be able to use other applications. It's been going on for a long time and I'm ready to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Any ideas out there???

I tried all common troubleshooting steps: deleting cache reinstalling different settings turning off adblocker/vpn disabled efficiency in task manager and set it permanently to off in FF

I used to have 1000+ tabs in 2016 no issue. I had problem in past with Firefox using 100% CPU which now it is not using only like 50, but memory is getting full 89% i use also large page file on ssd. Problem is even when i restart firefox it is slow with low RAM usage! SO that's not it! Even 5 tabs sometimes it is slow!

It is so damn slow it drives me crazy! I tried also Quantum in past when Firefox has 100% CPU usage bug and it was only tiny bit better but still caused 100% CPU usage!

All other browsers are anti user cannot even stop Autoplay literal terrorist Firefox is only normal browser unfortunately performance compare to 2016 got absolutely abysmal! I had this problem even in-between reinstals of OS so it doesn't seem it is me. I play demanding games no issues on my PC...

Every time I try to add a new account onto my gmail through Firefox, no matter what happens it will ALWAYS crash. A couple of things that i did were: (1) reset cookies, (2) check for updates (and is up to date)

I've disabled any kind of extension that I used to use (including any adblockers or browser VPNs) and nothing I've tried worked.

Please help me.

My GPU is the integrated GPU on the Intel U7-155H CPU. When some AVC videos are played, the browser reacts extremely slow and the video image is glitched and at a really low rate of frame, and the video decoding engine seemed to be 100% occupied as shown in the task manager (normal video playback never occupied so much of it). Seems like AV1 encoded video never triggered the problem. The problem doesn't always happen, but at a rather high frequency. This never happened before I updated the Intel graphics driver from 32.0.101.5972 to 32.0.101.6129. The problem seemed not to happen on other browsers such as Microsoft Edge.

Hello, I'm currently using a Macbook Air, Early 2014, that still works perfectly fine for my needs. But it runs with OS X 10.9.5 and Firefox 78.15.0esr, that unfortunately can no longer be updated. That wouldn't be a problem to me since I do a very limited use of the computer, but now I'm getting the message "Your Firefox may start to have problems on January 14, 2025 since updates are not available for this OS". What should I do if I still want to use this device with Firefox to browse the internet? If it is impossible to keep using Firefox, any suggestions for an alternative browser that may still work? Safari is no longer an option. Thanks a lot for any and all replies

Every time I boot/wake my computer, it takes at least 5-10 minutes for firefox to connect to the internet. I can open chrome or edge just fine.

I've tried reinstalling firefox, i've checked my win11 firewall settings, I've ensured that i'm not running through a proxy and have checked DNS.

Please help!

I have Win 11 dell computer that does not play or pick up sound from web sites videos .I checked and tested my sound using the Microsoft platform & buy playing a disc. It works OK

I've been having problems with Youtube. When I click on a video, it doesn't play and gives me the "If playback isn't starting shortly, try restarting your device.". However when I mute the audio, it just starts playing perfectly fine without the audio.

In Windows 11 taskbar items are as wide as the text label. I want them all shorter (narrower). See how steam and whatsapp are not as wide as firefox? Is there any way to remove or change the website site text description labels in Firefox?

I have used the Firefox add-on "Evernote web clipper" for years. Several months ago, I got a new laptop, and got web clipper up and running, for a while.Then, the web clipper icon disappeared. Firefox tells me it is still active, but I am unable to use it. Also, I am unable to log onto Evernote.com via Firefox. Have to use Edge. I have submitted this request before, and got suggestions, but none solved the problem. I am willing to pay to have this problem solved. firefox loading very slow , when i click on a new page its so slow to load , i first thought it was my internet but i have tried on micosoft edge and that is very quick
