Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.

Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.

To do so, please click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

I did need to do an update to one of my ad-on's but it did not solve my problem.

I did as instructed but did not understand what I needed to do.

Did starting Firefox in Safe mode had any effect?

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe mode:

• On Windows, hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox with a double-click on the Firefox desktop shortcut
• On Mac, hold down the Options key while starting Firefox
• Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Yes it worked to see a Michigan's news conference 4/7/2013 12:45 p.m. central. I don't know of a streaming to test against.

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

• all extensions are disabled
• the default theme is used (no persona)
• userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored
• the default toolbar layout is used (localstore-safe.rdf)
• the Javascript JIT compiler is disabled
• hardware acceleration is disabled

• plugins are not affected
• preferences are not affected

If it works in Safe mode or with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Thank you for your advice. I am unable to spend more time due to my need has expired. No more streaming of NCAA Basketball this year.
