Hi,

we developed an add-in for MS Outlook. The add-in, connects to a mail message, and reads information from the mail - to transfer information to a special journal system.

Is it possible via API to Thunderbird, to create Add-Ins as seen from MS Outlook?

Tried getting help from SPAMfighter, but they are closed for the day. I uninstalled SPAMfighter and reinstalled. No luck. No toolbar. Is this version of Thunderbird, (151.0.1 64-bit) having issues with SPAMfighter as some of the previous versions have had?

After installing the zoom meeting add-on, it's not working. Entered my credentials, clicked login with Zoom button and get an error: {"status":false,"errorCode":4702,"errorMessage":"Invalid client_id: rodney.arbona@thegratefulagency.com","result":null}

started getting errors 2 hours ago. TbSynch into hotmail.com worked fine for years. On 140.9.0 esr.

Deleted tbsync account, created new app password, and then used Autodiscovery. No go. Used every possible combination offered by tbsync. Kept asking for another password. Dead in water. Filed a debug report. Also use every app password for years.

ActiveSync configuration is: my email account as description my email account (hotmail) eas.outlook.com use secure connection via https best available ActiveSynch version

Been using Tbird for quite a while. Currently using ver. 149.0.2 but problem started before updating. Used to have a tab called Cardbook which shows all my contacts and is synchronized with Google. Its gone and I don't see how to add it back in. Advise please and thanks.

Previous Colors add-on is apparently not him compatible with the most recent version of Thunderbird which installed itself in the last few days.

Does anyone know if it updates to that plug-in is anticipated?

If not, are there any similar add-ons available?

Now the Message Header Customizer I was sent to about a week ago is no longer compatible with Thunderbird 149.0.

Is there another somewhere I can install?

Hi,

New to Thunderbird, trying to move away from Outlook on Windows.

For hotmail account, I was able to quickly set up account, read and send emails.

However, the calendar does not show up. It has an enable button which I clicked. But it appears to be a new calendar and it's empty

Search shows to install TbSync and Provider for Exchange ActiveSync. However, it's not available in add-ons/extension (shows as not compatbile with 149).

What else can I do? Don't want to give up this quickly.

I'm using Thunderbird vesion 149.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11. Our Email host has a 100 emails per hour limit. We need to send out 400+ emails to subscribers and are having issues with using only Send Later and BCC being rejected by certain email domains and or going to spam. Is there a way to use both Mail Merge and Send Later to send 100 emails to the recipients {{Email}} {{Name}}, pause one hour send another 100?

Since to old add-on enabling customization of the message header toolbar doesn't work now, where might get one the is compatible with Thunderbird?

During recent update 148.0 (64-bit) google calendars are not shown either in "Events and Tasks/Calendar" or in "Today's Pane".

Subscribed calendars are still there, but nothing is shown in the days/weeks/months entries apart from the first calendar in the subscription list! Nothing else. And nothing in today's pane.

Reinstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled "Provider for google calendar" but nothing changed.

None of the topics suggested fit. I'm having trouble with getting extensions on toolbars. In the customize toolbars window there's a toolbar at the very top of the page that starts with mail, calendar, addressbook, etc. Just for example, the Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar extensions are in that toolbar, but I can't move them to another toolbar and that toolbar disappears when I close the Customize page (either way) and I haven't been able to find a way to get it displayed in other places. That toolbar is very similar to the toolbar that appears on the left side of the Thunderbird window, but that one doesn't include the extra extension buttons that I mentioned above.

Some people in various places have suggested that customizing Thunderbird toolbars is done the same way as in Firefox. But I haven't been able to find a puzzle piece icon anywhere.

By the way, I used to be able to add more toolbars, which I found to be an attractive concept, although that implementation didn't always work so well.

Is there a way to get checkboxes to select messages or at least a plan to get it in a future release? I saw that there has been an add-on in the past, but not maintained for some years and therefore not possible to use in newer versions. Yes, I know that you can select messages with ctrl and mouse click, but there are others in my family who are not familiar with it and reluctant to get used to it. (have used gmail for too long).
