Some setting is causing an ad blocker alert from a site I use daily. I do not have any ad blockers. This is a new problem since Firefox has changed some settings.

Pop up notification for an outdated profile/version of firefox when firefox was closed which made the game tab out and I couldn't move until I was able to tab back in. How do I get rid of this and keep my current profile and get it up to date so that I can use the same profile?

Why did you remove my Google Email and passwords? Fire fox lost my passwords Google email and other stuff. I may have 1000 or more emails that I can not read!!!!!!!

I have a small problem when saving screenshots from google AI. Almost all of the screen I rectangle is saved, but the small section which normally is printed out below the "discussion" with the AI and the enter text field suddenly appears over the other text, up circa a page and a half up from the bottom. I hope this explanation makes sense.

Since this latest update to Firefox 153.0, anytime i press the CTRL key (either left or right) it automatically starts zooming in the webpage im on. Nothing is wrong with my keyboard and this wasn't an issue before this update.

When I enter "windband.org" into the URL box, Firefox 153.0, 64-bit on new Windows 11 system delivers the webpage of "videncorporation.com". This does not happen if the entry is "http://windband.org". Windband.org does not have a security certificate. If the request is "windband.org/oldtowne". the webpage is properly returned.

I found the clock widget in Firefox doesn't work well with the time zone and city searching. For example, search for the Houston Texas US time not found.

Is the Houston Texas not a big city to be in the list?

I have bookmarks saved in folders on the Bookmarks Toolbar, when i open the folders the list is drop down as usual but using the mouse wheel is too fast. I recently adusted mouse settings in about:config for smoother scrolling on webpages. Is there a separate mouse wheel setting for the bookmarks?

I opened firefox this morning on my laptop and it froze and shut down. When I opened firefox again it opened as a new window and all of my tabs and tab groups were gone. They do not show up in my history or recently closed tabs. Previous session is shown as current session so no option to restore.

Is there any other way to get these back?

Hi everyone! I have a couple issues that I'm encountering for an otherwise solid experience.

1. Scrolling with my touchpad or touchscreen on my laptop is choppy with Firefex while being smooth as butter using Edge and Chrome. It's on a specific website with a ton of pictures - Slickdeals.net. No problems with all other websites. The issue is w or w/o hardware acceleration.

2. I thought I found something great with Firefox's option to disregard a site's native font...so that my chosen option will override every site. Instead, it's showing up on only a handful of sites I use. More confounding is the fact that changing font size is not taking effect...when I choose 'reader view' those options work perfectly but going into the main settings just won't act accordingly. I'm also on the Microsoft forum talking about help with a virus but I'd like to know if anyone else is struggling with this...thanks!

i have saved initial searches i did in firefox as bookmarks in the bar under the search bar. i have now setup a seaparate bookmark folder to save these website bookmarked links into. if i reopen each of the initial bookmarks and save the link using the blue star process into the new bookmark folder i created, will that link become permanent? and can i then delete the initial links that sit on my firefox under the address bar and the newly saved links in the new bookmarks folder be still available?

thankyou for your help in advance. I tried AI and wasted quite a bit of my time trying to get correct answers.
