The server at iso.scanfor.scanfor.be is taking too long to respond. iso.scanfor.scanfor.be is an unsecure (http) INTRANET site not publicly acessible (local server). At same time other browsers are perfectly able to access the site! So there is NO connection issue... This problem happens mostly in the morning, and solves itself during the course of the day  :)

Anyone any idea where to look for an issue???

I want to confirm that Mozilla Firefox is my default browser. I want it to appear when I start up my computer and have it appear on my screen when I'm at rest. But first, I need to set the page up again.

(When I hit "browse" below, Firefox does not appear. My documents file opens up, wanting to save something to a file or folder.)

I am unable to find an answer (hours on the Internet) to this specific problem that has appeared out of nowhere:

Under File in the Menu Bar the "Email Link..." does not work anymore. If I want to send a thing I'm looking at to my Thunderbird email (and which I use Hover), most often is a You Tube video. But I do this for other things I start reading, but I don't have time for. This has worked for a very long time. It was always so easy. Now when I click on Email Link all I get is a blue circle-I think it rotates sometimes. It disappears in a second or less. I get nothing.

I do have Windows 11 and up-to-date Firefox. I am fairly sure it continued to work after I got a new computer Nov. 4th with W11 on it. I believe I lost this function within the last 6-8 weeks. Maybe with the new computer, but I don't think so. I'd appreciate it if someone might have a fix or idea about this. I admit my intelligence is not up to the task!

My Firefox data (profiles, bookmarks, browsing history, etc) suddenly disappeared. I had a session going with multiple tabs open, and only noticed because Outlook kept opening links in a brand new session that was not linked to the one I already had open. When I closed out of firefox, my old session and all my data was gone. I followed all the recovery steps and am stumped. Where did my data go and is it possible to restore it?

Even when I am signed into Firefox, the other person's Firefox passwords appear, and mine rarely do. This happened even before I downloaded Windows 11 recently. Often, I need to make sure the other user is logged out of his Windows acct., then turn off the computer, wait a few minutes, and then turn the computer back on before my passwords appear. Today, even that hasn't worked.

Hello, I set up Firefox to automatically log me in through my institution (university) whenever I try to access journal articles. My login has expired and I need to remove this automatic feature but cannot figure out how to do this. I've tried deleting all related saved passwords but this has not resolved the issue.

i run Firefox on Win11. When i go to a website, and open several tabs, e.g., 10 or more, firefox just sits there and no longer works on that site. Basically Firefox is becoming quite worthless as a browser for me. The reason i use it are the extensions. This is something that has happened within the last 6 to 9months or so. What is going on. today i recognize that my bookmarks are gone and i cant find any backup data or something else. First of all i restart morzilla. Then i restart my windows 11. still gone so i load a windows backup from yesterday. nothing change so i reinstall Morzilla but its still gone.

Is there anything else i can do ?

certain web sites are not available on my PC via firefox browser. Have to switch to Edge to access. Have had this happen a number of times for different websites but was amazed that couldn't access social security admin (ssa.gov). Received this error message:

By default ALL BOOKMARKS BACKUP saves on DESKTOP (Windows 11 pro). How can I change where the *.json file is stored (downloaded). I want D:\ZTEMP as the place to save all downloaded files as in settings "Files and Applications" "Downloads" "Save files to" D:\ZTEMP for me. example bookmarks-2026-01-03.json is placed on DESKTOP; I want in D:\ZTEMP. I am not familiar with settings, therefore I am unable to get a few of my pogo games to work. One of the games is Jungle Gin., no cards. On the Browser EDGE I can play Jungle Gin. I have been told it is a software problem with Mozilla. Please fix it for me. Thanks

I am trying to disable momentum/kinetic scrolling where scrolling with a trackpad continues for 3-5 sconds after releasing the trackpad.

I have tried: disabling smooth scrolling - no change setting apz.gtk.kinetic_scroll.enabled to false - no such setting exists changing apz.fling_friction to 0 or 0.9 - no change

I open my history with the shortcut of CTRL+H. Since the latest update, when I do so the sidebar opens up with it (which is fine for now), but then when I close the history with CTRL+H again, the sidebar remains.

In Windows the favorites are able to be placed into a hierarchy from a menu that drops out from the side of the star, save favorites icon. This makes it so much easier to see saved favorites in an order and can be set up to create a usable timeline of current favorites or specific folders for new, personal, interests etc. Also simple to retrieve and open the right bookmark. In Mac, unless I really name a favorite very specifically, chances of finding it ever again is slim. The search feature is always very helpful. Will this feature be added to Firefox for Mac?

Every time I close and reopen the browser (and then check the Process Manager), all my pinned tabs are there and taking 20-30 megabytes each while I didn't click on them and they're supposed to be unloaded after startup

None of the unpinned tabs are in the Process Manager

How do i stop this?
