I awoke to find that Mozilla VPN had crashed and left my computer undisguised for an unknown period of time. Running in Ubuntu Studio. I have used other brand VPN that would lock the network connection completely if VPN failed. Why does Mozilla VPN not have lockout, or if it does why did it not engage? Thanks for your time.

I’m looking for help with a Windows taskbar issue. My taskbar refuses to auto-hide when I have a video in full-screen and a Picture-in-Picture video running simultaneously. It works fine with just one video, but the PiP window keeps the taskbar active.

Does anyone know if there is a setting or workaround to fix this behavior?

I'm using a Windows/Linux client called WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux). I've installed Debian as my WSL OS and for a long time I had Debian version 10. Firefox worked fine with ver 10 but this morning I upgraded to Debian version 13 (which required me to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox).

Firefox still launches okay but I wanted to change my home page to Google. So I clicked the 3 lines at the top RHS which showed me a popup menu but none of the options was selectable. Eventually I twigged that to change settings I needed to launch Firefox using sudo.

I managed to change the home page okay but I then realised that if I launch Firefox without using sudo, my new home page is ignored. Conversely (if I launch using sudo again) Firefox launches at a tiny size and can't be re-sized (at least, not using my mouse cursor). I've attached a small screenshot.

All I can do is to display it full screen and then I can tell that the home page is indeed now Google. I don't remember having these problems previously so can anyone give me a clue as to what I'm doing wrong??

Every time I log into MOZILLA_FIREFOX it asks to update. I have tried this before. I usually just hit that NO button...When I do click on the YES button & try to update...IT WIPES OUT EVERYTHING I HAVE STORED ON FIREFOX. EVERY SINGLE PASSWORD...SHOPPING LISTS...I'm done! I now once again have to go and recover all my information. Thing is....it updates automatically........so WTH is going on? I will start looking for aother browser...is this a scam or what?

When I try to search for something on Google using Firefox, I keep getting the message "cloudflare web-find.net has expired."

What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Apparently, I need to switch to Chrome, because I don't get it there!

Every 3-6 months presumably when you update, it fully deletes all my login data from EVERY website, it has happened many times and is honestly so annoying. Please fix this.

My FF Browser introduced a vertical row of rings which I want to get rid off. Im using W10 and FF Version 151.0.4 (64-Bit). Rings are stable, updates show them again. Any Help???

I have a remote chap who needs this lap top to connect to net. he is installing a program for me remotely. This old computer is fine for the Toyota techstream but will not allow internet pages it has internet explorer not working

When I click on to gmail I get a screen saying ' Temporary Error We're sorry, but your account is temporarily unavailable. We apologise for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes. You can view the Google Workspace Statue Dashboard for the current status of the service. This has been happening sice yesterday, and I have switched browser to view emails, but I would like to know what has happened. I have checked that I am running the latest version of Firefox, but little else.

Since before and after my recent updates on my Macbook Air, Firefox has become virtually unusable. Facebook has slowed to a standstill, X videos won't load and now after this latest update to ios Tahoe 26.5.1 some of my passwords to my sites no longer work either. My Safari browser works fine. Is this to do with permissions? I need a solution quickly or I will sadly have to stop using Firefox.

I'm having trouble downloading product specification PDFs in Firefox from Formers Paper, a thermal rolls manufacturer. Some files open correctly, while others fail to download or display properly.

Has anyone experienced similar issues when accessing documents from a thermal rolls manufacturer website? Are there any Firefox settings or troubleshooting steps I should check for PDF downloads and file handling?
