Why do I have to sign-in to Gmail AGAIN each time I start Fire Fox?

• This even happens when I simply close and restart Firefox. (Not Windows restart)
• Using Windows 11 and FireFox Version 148.0 (64-bit) is up-to-date.
• Using Privacy Badger extension
• Using Malwarebytes Privacy Guard extension.

I see this popping up, however my system is running on Windows 11, NOT 10. "Windows 10 reached EOS (end of support) on October 14, 2025. If you are on Windows 10, see this article."

I have disabled AI according to the instructions given by Mozilla, under settings and AI controls. When I search, I still get the first result as an AI generated result. I want to disable that. I don't need AI's help to understand what I am looking for. I want an old school search without AI.

Is this possible? If not, could you please make it possible?

My bookmarks changed on the URL's in over 30 different bookmarks, but the names of the bookmarks stayed the same. I lost a lot of very personal information. What did Firefox do? Not sure when this happened, since I've not used bookmarks for a while.

Hi, I am getting error "Oops, something went wrong loading this content".

I downloaded firefox 148.0 x64 (from your webpage) on my new windows 11 PC. After setting up for a barebone firefox. I set "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.search.useHandoffComponent" to FALSE to have searches NOT USE address line and that is when I get "Oops..." error. My setup always worked on my Win10 system, can you help?

If I am on a website that is still loading in Firefox and want to change to another URL, then Firefox does not stop loading the old page. Once I click the "X", then it loads the new URL webpage. Shouldn't it stop getting data from the old URL the instant I load a new URL?

As mentioned, When google email account is open, opening another operative window, firefox automatically closes the email account. Why is this ? This looks to me as a possible bug or IE security program intervening to avoid cross connectivity and security violations between other opened windows. Correct ? This is annoying as an R&D engineer it is common to work with several opened windows. Any solutions or fixes ? rJ

Hi

I cannot reactivate spell check as I type, with English dictionary and the thick box ticked. Previously I could not get rid of spell check in my 2nd language (Turkish) but as I have managed, now I cannot restore spell check in English.

Can anyone help please?

Should I delete and reinstall Firefox? If I do will I lose my bookmarks?

I have searched these forums for "always on top" and the results were completely useless, so I assume no one has asked this question before, or the search engine is ineffective.. anyway, the question is:

When watching a video where you can click the right-side button to pop the video out to Picture-in-Picture mode, the video window that pops out is permanently set to Always On Top. It is often inconvenient for it to be Always On Top. I would like to be able to right-click on that video window and be able to select an option to disable Always On Top, or failing that, I would like to be able to disable this Always On Top via manually setting something in about:config. Can anyone recommend a solution that doesn't involve installing any third-party software to control Always on Top behavior? Thank you in advance.

All of the sudden can't use Hotmail through Firefox I have tried clearing cache, making sure clocks are correct etc.

I am unable to recover the original profile files, and this is not me trying to recover that; they are just gone completely so, I can't bring that original profile back to fix this. I have refreshed, uninstalled, signed out, closed the tabs from my sync list, etc, but I can't get this to go away. I don't know what to do.

I am looking to Restore yesterday Firefox have lost all my pin tabs when I opened this morning the browser how can I get my old stuff back? Please help me out. Thanks
