When trying to listen to music on Spotify I get this error: "The WidevineCdm plugin has crashed". I followed all the help section suggestions both on Spotify and Firefox, and nothing worked. I get the error message in Incognito mode, too. I did a fresh reinstall of FF and disabled all extensions. I also verified that WideVine was activated. Spotify works in Edge, so I know this is a FF issue.

I recently switched from Google Chrome to Firefox, and I’m having trouble with how PDFs are handled. When I click on a link for a PDF, I see the PDF symbol indicating it can be opened or downloaded based on my preferences. However, I want PDFs to download directly without opening when I click a download button, similar to Chrome’s default behavior.

In Chrome, if I click a link to view a PDF, it opens in the browser. But if I click a download button, it downloads without opening. I’d like to achieve the same in Firefox: view PDFs when I click a link but download them directly when I click a download button.

Hi I'm experiencing a rather strange error here every time i try to log into my Firefox account on my desktop.

Every time I log in (and authorise the login through an email code) my browser immediately says "account disconnected in the top right and asks me to log in again but then when I log in again I'm back to square one and I feel like I'm going in circles...

Hi! I move the new tab button to be on the right of the last tab, which works fine. Until I restart firefox, and then it's back on the left.

I tried removing the profiles in App data and letting Firefox create a new one and it did not solve the issue.

Firefox users used to be able to create multiple tab rows with Tab mix plus but that has since disappeared. Then there was a script you can use to create the same effect, but since the update to version 131.0 - this has also disappeared.

Why can't this option be added to the tab settings within Firefox? I can imagine that many users would love to see this back.

PS: alternatives such as "tab trees" are not the solution. Just multiple rows!

I have customized Linux mint and set Firefox to open and load set my html file and when it opens it loads the file but it only displays text with white background. The original background disappeared. But when I manually open it works fine .

How can I tell Firefox that I know how to find it in those app stores if I was using any of them? Or that I know how to find anything that I need on the Internet?

Why this aggressive promotion? What is the business model behind those free apps?

Hi, I recently updated my browser and am really disappointed that a previous solution to remove this frankly useless button was made obsolete. The correct way to have handled this on the road from 106 to now is to include an option in the right-click menu to remove said button. This option - while you can read it in the menu - is simply unclickable. This useless button that just hogs space like the toolbars of old is unable to be removed at all, as fiddling aroudnd with a userChrome.css file also didn't remove it. I would like either a concise way to remove that button that actually works or the ability to use my other mouse button to do something about it.

I can't use Google sign-in on any platform with Firefox. When the pop-up opens on the browser, it automatically redirects to this help article. Video games, websites, anything that I usually sign in with Google is having this problem, Chrome works fine. I have cleared my cache, browsing data, and reinstalled Firefox.
