I got imesh.com stuck as my home page and wasn't able to get google to my home page. I asked for help from someone, and the person deleted Firefox from my computer. I lost a couple hundred bookmarks. Is there any way to recover them?

If you weren't using the Mozilla Sync service, your bookmarks aren't stored anywhere except for on your PC.
Just uninstalling Firefox wouldn't delete your bookmarks, that person would have had to select the option to "remove all Firefox data and customizations".
