To upgrade from FF 4.0b12 to 4.0RC do you have to download RC and disable b12 version or is the process automatic?

When I gave FF 4.0 b12 a trial, I had to disable the 3.6 version off the desktop of my HP G72 laptop. I see the release candidate is ready but do I need to download the FF 4.0 RC and disable the 4.0 b12 as I did with 3.6 or is the update process for the b12 to RC and even full release version will be automatic? I like the 4.0b12 and it has been informative watching and participating in the development of the release version. One other note: I am still not able to get the mobile version to flip over into landscape view on my Droid X. Will this be addressed eventually?
