would it be possible to have a button clear the screen so only unread emails show?
Just wondering if there could be a button the refresh the screen and clear out anything except unread emails. all other email accounts would be closed. just make a clear screen thanks

You can tell Thunderbird to show unread messages only. View (Alt-V) - Threads - Unread
just brings up a menu
These kind of terse answers are useless. What were you doing? What happened?
