Firefox has been crashing virtually every day recently. I thought it was because of the Cookie Clicker game but it still does it since I stopped playing that.

This morning it won't even start, it just goes straight to the crash report repeatedly. I've tried starting in safe mode but it still crashes. I can't reset Firefox or follow any of the other instructions in your help section because they all require opening Firefox first.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems. See "Creating a profile":

Thanks for the response. I'll give it a try when I get home from work and report back whether it solves it or not.

I've tried creating a new profile - and even removed the default one (but not the files) - and I still get exactly the same issue.

Ok, I restarted my PC again after creating the new profile and Firefox has opened at last. Now I just need to try to restore my old profile. Thanks for your help.
