I was just using an older version of Firefox today and now am on 3.6.15. All my bookmarks from previous version have disappeared. I have looked over suggestions for fixing this, but they were not helpful. Please help. Please.
I swear I was on an older version of Firefox today. I had downloaded things to upgrade to 3.6.15 but had not yet made all the changes. The version I was working on froze (can't remember the message), so I closed it, and when I opened it again, it was the newer version asking me about my bookmarks (importing, etc. — it didn't have the option of Firefox, only Safari and some other option), I chose to ignore (or cancel?) it because I didn't know what was going on. Now I find I have no bookmarks. Please tell me there is something I can do to recover them.
I do not have a torbutton installed when I looked if that might make a difference.
Thanks so much!
