Firefox 4 not starting, unable to complete support instructions

I walked through all the steps on the Mozilla support page, but Firefox 4 will not open. It launches (I can end the process in task manager) but then when I go to relaunch, nothing happens. It runs again in Task Manager, but no windows open. I can't disable extensions per the instructions, help!!!

i had this problem so i tried to do all sorts of stuffs. now its fine. so here's what i did. i simply uninstall firefox and ticked the checkbox in the uninstallation wizard that says something like erase history, bookmarks, etc. and then re-install firefox. hope i help.
