cannot put items in shopping cart at Avon.com. Says I need to enable cookies

When I shop at Avon.com, my items will not go into my shopping cart. If I click, "add item to cart," nothing shows up in the cart. Avon says I need to enable cookies for my items to go into my shopping cart. I have no idea how to do this.
