Computer going to sleep while Firefox is downloading

Firefox still lets my computer go to sleep as it normally would after 20mins while a file is actively downloading. By comparison Chrome is able to keep my computer active until the file finishes. Is this not a feature baked into firefox?

Once, long ago, there was a Legacy add-on that did this. But it no longer exists. Whether there is another, I don't know.

This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.
