please check your connection settings in Firefox by following these steps:

  1. Click the menu button. and select Options. ...
  2. In the General panel, go down to the ProxyNetwork Settings section.
  3. Click Settings…. The Connection Settings dialog will open.
  4. Change your proxy settings: ...
  5. Close the Connection Settings dialog.
  6. Close the about:preferences page.
