Since reinstalling Firefox hyperlinks no longer work in Outlook 2007

I reinstalled Firefox as it was slow and often not opening web links without a lengthy wait. Other than this I had no other problems. Following the re installation, I found I could no longer open hyperlinks in emails on my Outlook 2007. I am running Windows 10. What has changed since I re-installed Firefox, and how do I resolve?
