I have 2 Thunderbird e-mails operating on the same desktop. One of them stopped receiving messages and left me with the message

Sending of password for user legaladvisors@wi.rr.com did not succeed. Mail server pop-server.wi.rr.com responded: account is currently inactive.

The other e-mail one works just fine. Why is this one now inactive?

Your provider's server sent that message so i am not sure why you are asking in a Thunderbird forum.

If I had to guess it is because whoever owns RR today is turning off the @rr servers. i suggest you contact your provider for new. up[dated server settings. Last i heard it was twc servers instead but you need to confirm that.
