Hi, as I said my complete theme (FT DeepDark) was always my go to theme. All my addon's except for FVD SpeedDial are legacy (Some very important ones) and they have been for a while, so doubt they will be updated anytime soon and can't find replacements to them. Also, the toolbar list on the right of browser with options, addons, exit etc... is now a list instead of a grid look which I much prefer the other design. This occured on latest major update of firefox, and I am seriously disappointed with it. I always like to keep my software up to date, but because of how firefox is I was think maybe their is an option somewhere to revert to how it use to be? I've seen options like that in other software, and was curious to know. Would their also be any way of using my legacy addons without firefox permanently disabling them in the future? I don't want to rely on addon's that may not work in later versions. Firefox keeps changing things, and hurting users (and devs) as well. Until I can get this situated I'm switching browsers.

Thank you for any help!

Web Extensions are evolving and many of them are changing to be compatible with the new Firefox 57. Tracking them here: http://bit.ly/2j0Anlj.

Going back : unfortunately 56.0.2 is no longer safe to use for every day use, but 52.5.0 ESR is! It will continue to get security updates until May 2018, and you can download and install it from this page: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

Or we could try to work through the issues you have.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I heard that from Mozilla but the problem is that many of my extensions have been marked legacy for a while, and no updates to that part from devs. Their are updates for them, but not to update to become non-legacy. As for the ui & complete themes, it just now ugly in my opinion and wanted to know if their was a way to change back the appearance to what was in previous version, maybe an extension or something but from what it looks like complete themes are no longer available? So, something that changes or modified the whole appearance of firefox is no longer possible by 3rd part devs? This just sucks, that was my main reason for switch to firefox from chrome a while back.

Legacy extensions need to be rewritten to WebExtension format; not a simple matter of "updating" them. Many extension developers decided not to rewrite their extensions and some found that Firefox no longer has the necessary API's to do what their Legacy extension did; for those the best the user can do is to locate an alternative WE extension that does most of what the user wants done - IOW match the features that you want.

The Legacy label was added a few versions ago to warn users that they may need to find an alternative extension soon. 3 months of that message should have been enough time to look for alternate extensions in the new WE format so as to not be be in this position of having to look for multiple new extensions all at once.

As far as Themes; full themes are dead as of Fx57. It's really been almost 3 years since true full themes were available - what has been available since like Fx 34 have been weaker themes than what had been available before that. A lot of Firefox users switched to SeaMonkey or 3rd party clones of Firefox when true full themes reached their demise in Firefox. But the Fx34 up to 57 versions did support more than in Quantum, which really only allows "lightweight themes" as they were once called after the defunct Persona project for web logins 'stole' the name from what had been called Personas.
