This is a previously-owned computer. When Thunderbird suggests autofill e-mail names, many come up that I don't know. They are from the previous owner. They do not show up in my address book. How do I delete them?

All suggestions come from one of your address books. You have 2 books by default. The Personal and the Collected books.

Find the addresses in the address book and delete them.
