After a prolonged period of time (+12 hours maybe), my entire computer will seize up requiring a hard reboot. Only happens when I leave Firefox running.

I recently built a gaming computer that has Windows 10. I'm not sure if the specs are relevant, but I can post those if someone thinks it would help. If I leave my computer on overnight and then come back to it the next day, the entire computer will be stuck or frozen. No mouse movement, not even ctrl-alt-delete works. When I reset the computer I get no error message.

I think this is also related to an issue where Firefox will seize up my computer when I am watching videos for an extended period of time. If I am streaming video from youtube for a few hours occasionally the computer seizes up but a glaring and high pitch sound will play from the speakers. I think this is related to the first issue.

How much RAM do you have installed? And how much is Firefox using when Firefox starts to "seize" or slow down drastically?

If you have 6GB of RAM or more, you might want to try using the Win64 version of Firefox. The Win32 version will come close to using 3GB, where more RAM is available for Firefox if you have it.
