Why did PDFs and Google Apps become choppy looking when using Firefox?

Lately, when trying to view PDFs or using certain Google Apps (Maps, Gsheets), the screen becomes choppy and illegible. However, there aren't any issues when I switch to Safari.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Sometimes it takes parts of images from other windows and blends it all in there!
