get rid of red underline in spell check once I have completed it
I am creating a signature in Thunderbird and the spell check is showing red underlines. I then click 'ignore all', but the red underlines don't go away, even once spell check is complete.

you have check as you type turned on I assume. Tools menu (alt+T) > options > composition > Spelling
You are aware those lines do not appear to the recipient I hope
