Why do received email messages show they are addressed to an address other than my own?
Received email messages show that they are "To" an email address other than my own. The address the messages are "To" is an email address of one of my contacts and is the same @gmail.com, but the firdst part of the address is different and WRONG.

select an email in the Inbox of the mail account to read in Message pane. click on 'Other Actions' select 'View source'
From = the person who sent the email - is this correct? To = your name and email address - does it say this?
is there any other mention of the incorrect gmail email address in eg: Reply to etc?
The "problem" is not really a problem. I send and receive emails fine. But the in the panel between the Inbox (message queue) and the reading pane this is displayed: ______________________________________________________________________________

cfortso@gmail is the address of one of my contacts.
This glitch is not really bothersome, I just can't imagine why it happens.
That's what you see in the Message Pane header area, but when you view source, does it show the TO as the correct or incorrect email address?
Also, is the incorrect name - one of your contacts - is it the first contact in the address book?
The To: address is not the first in my contacts list. When I view "source" it shows it is to the correct address. As I said, this is NOT important, just curious.
