Choppy gif animation on firefox for android
Hi. On this page loaded with heavy gifs: http://m.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=889394 I found that the animation on my 1.5GB RAM kitkat quadcore phone is really choppy (runs like 5~6 fps), where my Celeron WinXP netbook with 1GB RAM and desktop firefox is able to handled them nicely. Any idea why? Thanks.

Hi wkwrd, Unfortunately the file provided has not been found. However to answer your question generally, the performance of Firefox on a Mobile device and on a PC will have different varying factors. This will include, connection, software, resources, operating system etc.
Different hardware and software will perform differently.
Hold on...What do you mean by "file not found" ? I linked a web address to a page of a forum discussion with lots of gif animations. I didn't include any image/file coz it's hard to take a record about animation choppyness.
Is it a private forum? I also am not able to reach that page. Is it possible to rehost the gifs on http://min.us or http://imgur.com
