Did you try the Add-ons page? Either: * Command+shift+a * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons In the left column, click Extensions, then check the list on the right for anything suspicious, unrecognized or unnecessary and disable it. In some cases, you need to restart Firefox in order for that to take effect. Once you've completed your review, if any extensions have a restart link, you can do that as the last step. Success?
