bookmarks for ceertian sites cant be added

For some sites it adds the bookmarks and for others it will not. i click bookmarks add and it comes up with the page bookmarked tab but then will not add it into my list of bookmarks

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
