Unable to complete my text input, auto exit text cursor

I have no problems using Outlook online for other browsers when i need to type in their mail/message search box.

But in firefox, im unable to type 1234 in one go. It will auto exit after 1, as it will search all the entries containing 1. So i need to cursor back to text field to input 2, it will auto exit again, refreshing the search entries containing 12.

Can anyone advise me on this?
