I'm trying to install software via Excelleris with site access through Firefox - Firefox is asking for an administrative username and password to proceed - nothing is working including my apple login which has been recommended by several people. How do I get this information or bypass this function. I used Firefox on my old computer with the same software and this was never an issue.

I will continue to push for tabs to be (a user enabled option) on the bottom. I do not care for the reasons against this. I want the option returned to the settings in a normal manner.

With the latest update, my Win 7 Dell laptop hangs every time I exit Firefox. All I can do is log out and log back in to correct it. There is just a spinning icon that never goes away and I can't access the Windows menu. I'm submitting this from another machine so I don't have to deal with the issue.

I am informed of an update, which nevertheless will not install until several times after I close and reopen Firefox. Moreover, while it is doing this update, my browsing on the web is completely halted for well over a minute. Surely you can do better than this ...

firefox seems to be blocking pages by not allowing ads to load. Did not have this problem yesterday, and don't have problem with other browsers.

I was looking at an article on CNN when the fan in my PC started winding up to its top speed. I pulled up the Task Manager and found that 29 instances of Firefox were running simultaneously! Is there a way for us to limit the number of Firefox instances so that it won't completely paralyze my computer? I remember this happening a couple of years ago and I moved to a different browser, but I'd really rather get this under control than switch browsers.

Thanks for any help on this. Recently I was organizing fonts on my machine [macbookpro] and something happened to Arial, the font that Firefox uses. I've uploaded some screenshots. The letters are all jumbled up. I tried to investigate a solution in my preference folder but couldn't find anything about resting a font.

I've been trying to search on Bing to get their search points, but they are not registering on Firefox. Other browsers do not seem to have this problem. This is happening very recently. I've started Firefox on safe mode, refreshed it, still not working. I've disabled add-ons as well but nothing. It only refreshes to add something at the end of the URL, not sure if that helps.
