Hey whenever I try to load up Youtube it says An error occurred during a connection to www.youtube.com. Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s).

Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

I haven't traced this to FF updating, so don't yet have a hunch on what is triggering this:

Browser: FF for Win.

ISSUE #1: Downloads are going to the default location (Windows Downloads folder) in spite of being set to 'Always ask you where to save files'. This setting is retained correctly, but the browser is NOT asking me where to save the downloads - it just puts them in the default Windows "Downloads" folder)

ISSUE #2: I NEVER have ANY browser save passwords, yet despite repeatedly setting it NOT to ask to save passwords, here I am AGAIN setting it NOT to save passwords. This seems to happen every few months, but I don't yet relate it to FF updates.

Thoughts?

Hello. This issue happens only with steamdb.info. The favicon on the tab is correct but the one on the bookmark is not. Why are they different? It also happens with a brand new profile or on another PC. I'm on Windows 10. Thank you for the help.

When using the Firefox search engine, once the information is entered, Freshy takes over. I'm concerned that my computer is being compromised. Please tell me how to get rid of freshy. Thank you.

If i want to open files into an application i do not want the files to clutter up my downloads folder.

this used to work perfectly pre-v91.

i understand that some users were confused where their files went when they opened them incorrectly within firefox.

currently i'm using a python script to clear my downloads folder from the useless files, but i'd rather just not have to bother with it.

is there a way to get the old behavior back? im comfortable going into about:config and/or using a plugin if i have to.

Attempting to print pdf from web based program and the first 2 characters on left and last 2 characters on right are cut off.

Also when printing pdf from web based program it is cutting off the very top of the page and the very bottom line of print.

Solution?

Normally there is no difficulty searching a pdf with a pdf reader. How does one do it in Firefox?

Note that ctrl+shift+f and ctrl+f do not work.

I have FINALLY given up on your sync feature as it keeps adding deleted bookmarks and folders. It is so bad that all the duplication of bookmarks and folders are so random that can mount to thousands and thousands or copies.

I have UN-SYNC all my devices as this cannot go on as I have followed your instructions to the T.

I have been unable to watch Netflix or any "other" video content using the Firefox browser for the past few weeks. I've been pulling my hair out while working through the help articles, alongside bouts of furious googling - all to no avail.

On Netflix I am getting error code F7701- 1003. Netflix is telling me to use the latest version of Firefox, but I have been checking for new updates almost every day since I noticed this issue. My current version is 100.0 (64-bit) On other website I'm getting the error message "No compatible source was found for this media."

I have followed all of the fixes listed on the following articles, but so far have not been able to fix my problem: Fix common audio and video issues Fix video and audio problems on Firefox for Windows N editions

If there is anything I haven't tried yet, please let me know.

Just recently I am having trouble viewing videos of any kind, in Facebook, or u tube videos, Firefox has worked perfectly until a couple of days ago, I don't know what has changed

I have just installed V.100 and have come across a small problem. I can't sign into 'The Canberra Times' site. The option to sign in is missing from their home page. It is there using MS Edge or Chrome and I can login to the site on those two browsers. This does not seem to be a problem with other websites that I have tried since the new version!

I have spent hours trying to unblock a site i have previously used before your upgrade. every time its a nightmare. Why can't your program remember exceptions. I tried all the exception options. I tried adding the certificate exception and was told it was valid and did not need an exception. Why does everyone feel the need to make our lives harder with the illusion you are protecting us. In the past, when I wanted to save a bookmark I could choose a specific folder to save it to. So for example, if I found a newsource that I wanted to bookmark to my News folder I would click on Bookmarks, Bookmark Current Tab and a dialogue box popped up that allowed me to choose the folder to save the bookmark to. This dialogue box no longer opens when I click on Bookmark Current Tab. Instead, all bookmarks are automatically saved to my Other Bookmarks folder and I have to drag them to the folder I want. I'm not exactly sure if this change happened with a Firefox update, or if I did something to change the process. Is there a way that I can fix this and have the choose a folder dialogue box pop up when I save a folder? Thanks for your help, Jeff
