I've always liked the Firefox New Tab page, with Pocket, and until today, DarkReader plugin has always worked. But now it says that it can't because the page is protected.
I tried the solution to use bookmarklets, suggested in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1350781, but it didn't have any effect (https://sanketmehta7.github.io/DarkMode-JS-BookMark/
If I can't find a solution, I'll just ditch Pocket, and use Google as my first page, or something. Or maybe ditch Firefox, which doesn't seem to think that dark mode is important. I don't like being blinded by the light.

Tiny URL is more useful than the rather silly 'Pocket' which just seems to be a page full of adverts

Firefox for Linux has a bug where it is unable to drag a tab from a non-active window. As in, if the window focus is on Firefox window A and I try to drag a tab from Firefox window B to window A, I have to click first the window. I can't just intuitively drag the tab from a non-active window, because it will get ignored. It will just activate the window, ignoring the drag.

This behaviour is not replicated for other settings i may make, e.g. dom.storage.enabled, or permissions.default.image. Being Android i have no root so no possibility of creating a user.js to override Firefox ignoring my settings. This seems to be a bug. Version is Android Nightly version 121.0a1, 2023-11-05.

Starting this morning I suddenly cant delete or mark emails as read in Outlook.live.com. Even if I open an email, and it appears as read after that, if I refresh or leave the page and come back, its marked as read again.
I tried dropping all add-ons (a kill switch to drop all add-ons and re-activate them is still a feature I feel Firefox needs, I have to click every single one of them every time) to no avail.
I was in the process of writing this question on the Microsoft forums (which is usually like whizzing in the wind) when I thought to try a different browser. I had zero issues and Outlook.live.com worked perfectly normal on Microsoft Edge.

another post suggested checking the about:config browser.search.region mine says "GB" which would be correct for .co.uk

Hi there - I accepted Firefox's prompt to "refresh" the browser and had no idea it would take away my add-ons. How do I get these back? I don't even remember what they all were, but I know they made a huge difference and now I can't believe all the ads I'm seeing and then my "facebook container" (and other kinds of container tabs) is gone too! How do I fix this? Can I undo the "refresh"??

There is "show in folder" menu for file in downloads. And it will launch my file manager at the parent folder for the selected download file.
There are so many files in my downloads folder, so i would like the specific file to be autoselected. My file manager support this if i pass the filename as parameter in the commandline.
However, seems that firefox only pass the parent folder path to my file manager in the "show in folder". However can i customize firefox so that it will pass the full file name to my file manager when i click "show in folder", and my file manager will open the parent folder with the specific file autoselected.
