Websites i search are weirdly shaped and are not fitting the screen well.

Whenever i open something, It doesn't fit the screen well and i constantly have to scroll right and left when i am doing work. Also on top, the tabs are much larger than they were before and zooming in or out does not affect the tab size.

Use an extension to adjust the text size in the user interface and the page zoom in the browser window.

You can look at this extension to adjust the font size for the user interface.

You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoScript extension if web pages need to be adjusted after changing layout.css.devPixelsPerPx.

The shortcut you use to start Firefox may have a Compatibility tab (I have trouble remembering XP at this point). Usually it's best not to select any of the options on that tab. You can check using:

right-click the icon > Properties > Compatibility tab
