I have a Mac running OS 10.4.11 with Firefox 3.6.22. I have found many interesting videos on a site called FilesTube.com. However when I try to play or download most of the videos there it will do neither. There is an error message displayed indicating that I need a specific video player/plugin that when I try to download is only for Windows and not Mac. Is there a pluggin I can add to Firefox to solve this problem, and how can I identify it? I am completely at a loss what to do. Can anyone help?

Your Flash plugin is quite older. You need to update it.

Adobe Flash Player 10.3.183.7 (2.94 MB)

=> When Downloading Plugins Update setup files, Remove Checkmark from Downloading other Optional Softwares with your Plugins (e.g. Toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)

Update All your Firefox Plugins

Check and tell if its working.

Thanks mha007, I appreciate the effort. I attempted to update my video plugins as you suggested, but was only able to update RealPlayer and not Flash or any other. The problem appears to be that I have two older PowerPC Mac's running 10.4.11 and all the available video plugin updates require Intel Macs running 10.4 or higher. I cannot upgrade to 10.5 or anything else more recent or I will lose the use of several thousand dollars worth of software that I cannot afford to replace, and even if I did that would still not solve the PowerPC/Intel discrepancy. I have found an older version of VeohWebPlayer(2) that enables me to play their vids on their site and on FilesTube. Since those were principally the ones that I could not get to play before, my problem seems to have been solved. Thanks again.

Yeah you are right. Here are the System Requirements for using Adobe Flash:
