When I logged on yesterday a prompt said I needed to download the newest version so I did. Today when I logged on it said the same thing? Do I or do I not have the newest version and if I do why does this still show up?

Your UserAgent shows that you are using an old Firefox 3.0.10 version.

Did you actually install the new version, or just download it?

Your UserAgent string in Firefox might be messed up by another program that you installed. Try resetting all the UA prefs.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Agent

type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Filter = general.useragent.
Right-click the preferences that are bold, one line at a time, and select Reset.
Then restart Firefox.

If you are using a much newer version of Firefox, you can open Help > About Troubleshooting Information and view your UserAgent under Application Basics.

It should look like this - Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 or 5.0.1
