Hello there,

The problem that i am getting is that when i am downloading a file from the browser , it only shows on the screen notification panel but not in the 'downloads' section of the browser. And when i pause the download, even after having downloaded more than 50 percent it would completely disappear and then i find no option to resume the download.. This is a major issue kindly help me sort it out.

Thanks !

Hi

The file will show as downloaded in Firefox once the file has been downloaded to your device.

But where has the file gone after i paused it while downloading?

It will not have been saved as the file has not been downloaded.

Does that mean that I have to wait there on the browser page until it is downloaded completely?

No, the file should download in the background (assuming you have a good WiFi connection).

Okay , but I am not supposed to pause the file come what may?

I am sorry, but I do not know what you mean.

I am asking whether does all this mean that i shouldn't even pause the file once , while its being downloaded? Bcoz file disappears after i pause it in the download process ☹️

If you pause the download, there is a chance that the download may struggle to resume.

This is possibly not an issue with Firefox for Android but could be linked to the Android download process and/or the strength of your WiFi connection.
