I have recently updated to Firefox 100. I am now getting this message on a page "You are using an outdated browser. Please upgrade your browser." I have confirmed I am up to date.

The "update you browser" has a link to "whatbrowser.org", which I believe is run by that horrid business, Google.

Has anyone struck this problem? Is there a solution?

I have closed Firefox & re-opened, I have rebooted the computer. No change.

It may be possible that Firefox 100.0 may run into websites having issues due to the website not updating to accommodate web browsers version numbers with three characters.

I get the same issue in Chrome and Edge.

Thanks James, problem appears to be solved.

Just one point. When looking to complete the Mozilla form re the problem, I followed the questions until it got to "Did you encounter the issue on this device (Windows 10) using this browser (Firefox 99.0)?" The problem is it only gave me an option to answer "Yes", when the answer is No - I have never encountered this problem pre-version 100.

Anyway, all looks good now. Thanks for your assistance.

Have a good day.
