My Customer Uses Lockwise to Migrate Her Saved Usernames and Passwords. They are all gone now!
All of a sudden my customer (who works for a law office) lost all of her usernames and passwords in Firefox. I've tried everything suggested from your site without success. I can see the encrypted usernames and passwords when I drag the login.json file to firefox, but they don't show up in the browser. There is only a key4.db file. I do not see any key3.db file. She is using version 78.10.1esr. What am I missing? There's no phone number for assistance. This is terrible for this law office!

Support for key3.db ended with Firefox 73 and newer (i.e. Firefox 72.0.2 is the last version that supports key3.db), so you need to have the correct key4.db file to be able to decrypt the logins in case logins.json still has all logins.
Firefox 80+ has a logins-backup.json file in the profile folder that can be used in case of issues with logins.json or to undo an accidental delete of a login, so you can check if you can find this file in the profile folder or in a backup.
You can look at a utility to browse System Restore points to see if you can locate a matching logins.json and key4.db.
Make sure to keep a backup of all involved logins.json and logins-backup.json and key4.db files.
